Dear All,

         Please be advised that all classrooms within the SIUC campus are strictly reserved for scheduled teaching and learning sessions only. Students are strictly prohibited from occupying or utilizing classroom spaces outside of the official academic timetable, including during break periods.

         This mandatory restriction is implemented following a series of reported incidents involving misuse of facilities, such as damage to technical equipment, loss of property, and cleanliness issues that have disrupted the campus environment. The university maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any actions that compromise the integrity and readiness of our educational facilities.

         While the university fully supports and encourages student leisure time, such activities must be confined to the designated areas provided. Students are directed to utilize the Students Lounge, Students Hub, and Resource Center for relaxation or social purposes during their free time.

         Any student activity or meeting that requires the use of a classroom outside of scheduled hours must be preceded by a formal application from the management. Strict compliance with this regulation is required, and failure to adhere to this notice may result in disciplinary action. Your cooperation is essential in maintaining a secure and professional atmosphere for all members of SIUC.
